Genesis Series Feet Prosthetics

The goal of every foot/ankle system is simple: make it work exactly like your own. Many positive developments have been made, but with the Genesis II and Genesis II+ Foot/Ankle System, MICA Corporation has taken a definitive step forward… developing a prosthesis that rotates and flexes in multiple directions, closely mimicking those of a human limb.

A Natural Fit for You

Each Genesis Series Prosthetic System is a specially customized product constructed specifically for the customer who requires it. All assembly is completed by a team of specialists selected for this purpose. There are many stages involved in the customization process: product selection and special bumper/bushing configurations according to user weight and activity level, sizing, finishing, quality and functionality testing. Once the foot has been created, it can be readjusted to accommodate whatever style of living a user is accustomed.

Life Without Limit

With a customized, comfortable, high-performance Genesis II System, users are ready to take on the activities that mean the most to them. Basic but critical tasks such as walking, rising from a seated position and climbing up and down stairs can easily be accomplished.

High Tech – Full Performance

Twelve Degrees of Freedom are what distinguish the Genesis II & Genesis II+ Systems from competitors. The foot and ankle bend, torque, and flex in conjunction, eliminating the restrictive effect experienced by other devices. With every stride, the feet compress and react, providing the industries most dynamic and immediate response. The efficiency of this response greatly reduces joint, leg, and back pain, thereby enhancing the users experience.

Smooth Walker

Beneath the rotating ankle, the Genesis II & Genesis II+ Foot/Ankle Systems feature a uniquely designed bumper design that is guaranteed for the life of the foot. The pliable bumpers work to absorb shock and provide the smoothest, most gradual motion available in a prosthetic system.

Energy Storage for Better Response

For every weight–bearing motion, the mid–foot compresses and deflects, storing up energy. The mid–foot then releases providing a spring–like as users push off the toe, this in effect then releases the stored energy for a more efficient motion.

Light Weight & Durable

The Genesis II & Genesis II+ Systems are constructed of durable, lightweight materials designed for the Aerospace Industry. They provide the optimum combination of maximum performance and reliable strength. The systems are suitable for user of ranging weights and activity levels.
